Very friendly staff and great food! Not greasy like other Chinese places. Food was hot and fresh portions were huge!. Would definitely go again.

Fast service with a great variety of chinese and candian food, a place anyone can eat along with vegitarian options. Great portions and is always more then i expect the people are friendly and welcoming always leave happy.

We have been goin to Mark's for a number of years. Always been happy with the food and service. However the most recent visit we had a very disturbing situation.We got seated by a table they just removed the the dirty dishes but left the same table cloth.I am not overly fussy and could eat from a table cloth it was used before but stayed reasonably clean. This table cloth was completely soiled, big grease patches all over on it with big chunks of food leftover. We were hoping the waitress will change it but she didn't. Instead she sweeped the food leftover with her hand to the floor.We don't eat from table cloth like that at home. Needless to say we got up and left. Don't know if we go back again.

Friendly,kind staff and good food

I have been to Mark's 3 times in the past year since we moved to Minden. Waitresses are very pleasant. The food is reasonably priced but usually cold when it comes to the table. Improvements are needed. Not sure if I'll be back.

Service is great. The staff are wonderful. Needs a little updating inside but the view out the windows to the back forest are amazing. The food is not all that great. Not much flavour. Mine was suppose to veggies in it but there was only 2 kinds and not many. I would try it again and order something else.

Cottage go to place, excellent chinese cuisine.

Have bene going to Marks for years. It was a family tradition every time we went to the cottage, BUT!.. They have gotten too expensive and quality is not consistent. Today they charged us for chicken balls that were part of the dinner for three. Then they delivered the chicken balls with sauce after being asked for it on the side. They offered a half order to make up for their (denied) mistake, and then had the nerve to charge us for that too. For the price we could have gone to a high end restaurant. I would not recommend Marks. Go some where else. I must note that the waitresses are always pleasant. Just not very accurate.

Absolutely love the food, chicken soo guy is my favourite however salt content in the gravy is far too high please reduce very unhealthy for blood pressure clientele and cooking with msg is no longer appropriate too many allergies Ty for your consideration

Best chinese food in cottage country

This is the best Chinese food in the area, and not just Minden but surrounding areas as well. Great job folks.

Usually pretty good but last night they were so busy we waited 40 minutes for our food. When it came it was a little undercooked. Disappointed

Have been driving by this restaurant for years,but always skeptical of ordering here as it doesnt look very inviting when you see weeds and long grass growing high around the building and entrance door..Looks very shabby...but was told food was good,so took a chance and ordered for first time..Needless to say food was good,had plenty in order,waitress was okay but not that friendly or helpful..Interior could use some upgrades too..During Covid I'm sure they could take some time for outside and clean the place up to look more inviting..just saying...I'm sure their business would double by doing this in cottage country.🤔🤔😊😊 After all took us alot of years to try it and still would not have if someone hadnt said the food was okay..

Classic American style chinese food

Some don't know this but it's Chinese sit down restaurant and it's good. Fresh.

Celinea is the best

If you're looking for anything similar to authentic Chinese food, I wouldn't recommend. I was disappointed with the chicken lomein and the curry was too salty. The waitress was really nice though and I went during a time when it was not busy at all.

The food here is good and the portions are generous. The price is in keeping with other Chinese restaurants, the decor on ambiance however could use an upgrade, however it is one of the only choices for Chinese food in the area. It looks like a good choice for takeout.

Very good food, fast service and friendly staff. One of my party had a special request and the kitchen accommodated the small request without issue. Prices are very fair and the food was hot and well made.Overall 10/10, will be back in the future.

Consistently disappointed by this restaurant and especially their service. The staff is extremely unfriendly, unaccommodating and started rolling her eyes while we were ordering... We tried to order more than an hour before they said they closed and they refused to take our order. Wouldn't recommend, extremely disappointing.

The food was hot but it didn't leave you full or wanting more... the prices do not reflect the portion sizes... My hubby only got 2 shrimp (they were tiny) with his combo... First time in a long time.. probably won't go back.. Service was great though

I did not think i would find a great Chinese restaurant in Cottage cointry. Have been a number of times and the food is very good. Do not let the view from outside put you off.

I've never been treated to such a fine place. Food fresh made to order. Piping hot coming to the table. If you are in the area a must stop and dine experience.

We ordered the combination dinners & was pretty disappointed. We normally 2 or 3 dishes & enjoyed the food.We wont do the combination dinners again.

Nice staff clean place

The room hasn't changed since the '80s. The food is good, but the service is hit and miss. The younger hostesses... Some are good and some can't seem to grasp how to seat people or decide to randomly burp.

Very good Chinese food, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Would recommend this place. The decor is a little confused but the building is an old authentic schnitzel house that has been serving chinese food for 40+ years. My family has been going since I was born when we visited the cottage.
